TRAC Renewables has been awarded a five-year framework agreement for Above Water Structural IMR services for ScottishPower Renewables' (SPR) flagship East Anglia ONE offshore windfarm, off the coast of Suffolk. This broad scope of work builds on a pre-existing, long-standing relationship and will see TRAC Renewables provide a full suite of technical resource and project support services.

The windfarm is located around 40km off the coast of Suffolk with maintenance and operations co-ordinated from the busy Lowestoft hub.

TRAC Renewables delivers turnkey solutions, focused on asset integrity and statutory compliance, underpinned by a range of modular, out-of-the-box, project support services.  It is a specialist division of TRAC Energy, an ISO-17020 accredited provider of industrial inspection, maintenance, and repair services.  The launch of its flourishing renewables division was the realisation of its desire to foster sustainability through diversity, harnessing synergy across the company to play a leading role in the energy transition.

Commenting on the news, TRAC Energy Head of Renewables Joel Telling said: “We’ve enjoyed working with SPR on several sites and projects over the last couple of years and are delighted with this new opportunity to formalise and to develop the relationship further.

“For the growing team at TRAC Renewables, each new contract award supports and validates the investment that we are making in the Energy Transition.”

Steve Hodger, ScottishPower’s Principal Site Manager at East Anglia ONE, said: “We’re proud to be working with trusted partners like TRAC to ensure our assets continue delivering the clean, green electricity we all need to power our daily lives.  We look forward to building on our successful partnership over the coming years to take the windfarm up to its first decade of operation.”
